Passionate about the wellbeing of your canine companion and your relationship with them

Cherise Squire is the owner/operator of the Woof Wagg’n and comes with over 15 years of experience and knowledge from wildlife rehabilitation to a wide variety and experience in domestic pets.

Cherise’s passion and love for animals started from an early age volunteering at an urban wildlife rehabilitation centre in South Africa. After her schooling she has completed various courses, Cherise has worked within vets, retail outlets and before moving to New Zealand she worked in a retail store with 15 dog groomers.

Moving to New Zealand and looking for something to do with her love for animals, Cherise found herself volunteering for Julies Animal Refuge. Di Grant (previous owner) and Cherise crossed paths where the two hit it off immediately with so much in common and their love for animals and passion for grooming.

Di & Cherise worked closely together for a year traveling in the Woof Wagg’n throughout the north, grooming many fury companions of the households in the Rodney region.

Cherise is dedicated to continue the high level of service, friendliness and passion which the customers of the Woof Wagg’n have experienced.
